Candler Hills is a neighborhood within On Top of the World, the long-established 55+ age-restricted community in SW Ocala. It is built around Candler Hills Golf Club, a par-72 championship course designed by Gordon G. Lewis that opened in 2005 and plays more than 7,000 yards from the back tees. The course is semi-private, offers five sets of tees, and has hosted the Ocala Open professional tournament.
Homes in Candler Hills range from attached villas to single-family residences, generally with stucco exteriors, tile or shingle roofs, and open single-level floor plans oriented to covered lanais. Many back to the golf course, preserve areas, or landscaped common space. New construction and resale inventory are both part of the market here.
