Juliette Falls

Juliette Falls sits in Dunnellon, in southwest Marion County west of Ocala, on terrain with more elevation change than most of Florida. The community was planned on roughly 546 acres around Juliette Falls Golf Club, a par-72 championship course by architect John Sanford, whose firm has worked on dozens of courses worldwide. Elevated tees, long views, and native landscape give the course a character that surprises buyers who expect flat Florida golf.

The setting is the point. A nature preserve of roughly 136 acres with several miles of trails runs through the community, and a 10-acre practice facility and clubhouse with dining support the golf. Dunnellon gives Juliette Falls a different daily rhythm than central Ocala. Rainbow Springs State Park and the Rainbow River are close by for paddling and tubing, and the Gulf Coast is within reach to the west. The trade-off is distance: downtown Ocala, the World Equestrian Center, and major medical centers are a longer drive than from the city's core communities, so map your regular routes before you buy.
